The Mtkvari River Protection Day
The Mtkvari River Protection Day has been marked in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan already for two decades. The Mtkvari is the largest river in the Transcaucasus and it’s role is principal for our country, its biodiversity and agriculture.
Unfortunately, our river is being polluted by household utility waters and waste. To avoid this, wastewater treatment facilities need to be installed and also, each of us need to realize our responsibility in protecting the Mtkvari River.
