“Clean Up Georgia” Project (Phase III) Information on greening action carried out in Kaspi Municipality

In the framework of the project “Cleanup Georgia” (phase III) Georgian Society of Nature Explorers “Orchis” purchased from “Sakartvelos Nergebi”, Ltd. (Georgian plants) 200 roots of coniferous and deciduous plants, including: cypress, nut tree, pomegranate and on April 19  greening action was carried out in Kaspi Municipality. Representatives of Gamgeoba (Administration), Sakrebulo (Assembly) and population participated in the action. The action participants were given the brochures on composting and Waste Management Code of Georgia.

The project “Clean Up Georgia ” (Phase II I ) is being carried out  by a consortium of NGOs consisting of Georgian Society of Nature Explorers “Orchis”, Greens Movement of Georgia/Friends of the Earth-Georgia and “ Raising of Ecological Awareness and Waste Management” with the financial support of the Government of Sweden,  with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Natural resources Protection of Georgia , in cooperation with the Ltd „ Solid Wastes Management Company  of Georgia”.
